Good Companions provides professional domiciliary care and live in care to people in and around Cumbria to allow them to keep living independently.

The home care agency's staff are trained to a nationally recognised standard in all aspects of care. Good Companions offers a wide range of services, including but not limited to cancer care, cleaning services, dementia care, food preparation and serving and palliative care.

Good Companions came out and visited my wife same day for an assessment for free with some lovely chocolates, which was very kind of them. They made us feel reassured about the care my wife would have available for her and the support I would get as well. Very good management - thank you Penrith branch

Good companions care agency provide a cleaning service for myself, they’re really thorough and so nice to come home after a day at work to clean bed sheets, laundry ironed and a tidy home! Even when I was working from home they did an amazing job and didn’t disturb me! Also excellent time management and great communication with the management, Yasmine is a joy to contact and very responsive.

Good Companions have been a great help to my mum and family since the very start and continue to do so. From the first enquiry they were able to advise what care would be best for my mum. We use the Good Companions for respite care and without doubt they always make sure they can he;p rovide a carer for the time we need. The team have been ever so supportive and continue to do so, I have recommended many of my mums elderly friends to seek acre from Good Companions and would advise any other families to do so also. The Good Companions really do care!

Good companions made my mother’s last month comfortable and reassured us all as a family, the home carers we’re all so kind and enabled us to keep my mother’s wishes of passing at home, without good companions this may not have been possible. The management were so efficient at getting the calls in place and always at the end of the phone when we needed them. No words can praise this home care agency enough! Thank you for everything.

We had a bit of misunderstanding at first but the manager got it sorted and Good Companies provide careers for my parents. All off them gave 110%. Especially one who was an angel sent from heaven
